Bronzeman created this bronze statue memorial in remembrance of a precious toddler whose life was tragically taken for the Opelika Police Department in 2024. This project was more than an artistic endeavor-it was a way to capture the innocence, beauty and light that this child brought into the world, however briefly.
Every detail was thoughtfully considered to honor the child’s spirt and innocence, while also standing as a symbol of resilience and hope for the family and the community. This statue serves as a lasting tribute, holding space for both remembrance and healing. We were truly humbled to have been entrusted with this profound responsibility, and we hope that the memorial offers a place for reflection and peace to all who visit.
